Crossroads Covenant Church had been meeting at Loveland High School, and in a short time the Church grew to an average attendance of approximately 1,500 people. The Church recently purchased 73 acres of land on which to build their first church campus.
When the Church retained RNL to plan and design their new campus, RNL engaged the Church in an interactive design process. After conducting numerous interview meetings with the staff and ministry groups, the team developed a space needs program and master plan which identified a Phase 1 project of approximately 44,000 sf., which includes a 1200–seat multi-purpose Worship Center, a 7,600 sf Fellowship Lobby, and approximately 13,000 sf of classrooms and office space.
The project developed over the years as a campus of buildings around an open landscaped fellowship plaza, taking advantage of the wonderful mountain views and good Colorado climate. The project includes a 2500–seat Auditorium, Children’s Educational Center, Youth Center, Family Life Center, 500–seat Chapel, and additional classrooms and office space. The church is also contemplating retail development and senior living facilities on the remainder of their campus.
