The design places the most emphasis on the visitor’s experience and the act of creating a shopping environment that will set itself apart from the competition. We focused on identifying the atrium as vertical neighborhoods where retailers who sell complimentary products would be organized surrounding the atrium, making the different vertical volumes true unique experiences. This organization creates a distinctly advantageous visitor circulation flow for all of the retailers; enticing the shopper to travel vertically rather than the typical horizontal movement pattern. This allows for more customer flow and more business opportunity.
