RNL, as part of a design/build team with Sundt Construction, completed a design competition to deliver a LEE D Sliver medium and extra large sized Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF), as part of a limited number of competitors under a MATOC.

The design includes 104,020 sf of the medium and extra large TEMF buildings, and an additional Paint/Prep, Bead Blast, Engine and Transmission Test facility, Hazardous Material storage and POL storage buildings of approximately 120,660 sf. The TEMF buildings will be built at the outer edges of the complex, with a central core of support buildings on the internal row and a large parking area at the north end of the complex. All buildings are designed to meet Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) standards.

The buildings are connected by a continuous concrete hardstand for vehicle circulation; the hardstand covers approximately 88,300 square yards for the entire site.
