Orange County Water District (OCWD) manages the large groundwater basin that provides reliable, high-quality groundwater to 20 cities and water agencies and their 2.3 million customers in north and central Orange County. Their water quality and water research laboratories are some of the finest in the state.

The OCWD lab facilities include state-of-the-art analytical equipment capable of establishing water quality to the parts per million level and beyond. Labs are dedicated to the analysis of organic and inorganic materials, testing and monitoring water samples continuously throughout the year for many of the water districts in Orange County. The facility includes a ‘clean lab’ to support the careful monitoring of trace metals at the parts per billion level, insuring that drinking water is always delivered in full compliance with local and federal regulations.

Offices and laboratories are being designed for the three principal users/departments - Organic, Inorganic and Water Quality.
