RNL is providing design services on a 136 standard guestrooms and 6 suites waterfront hotel extension to the existing Al Raha Beach Hotel which includes public spaces, two restaurants, and 160 additional parking spaces. The extension is organized around a skylit atrium containing a restaurant. shape of the building allows views from existing guestrooms and villas to remain as unobstructed as possible. Every new guestroom has a close-up water view and a full-width terrace.

The extension is to be completed on an accelerated schedule to more than double the capacity of the existing hotel. Originally part of a design competition, the extension is part of a waterfront development in the form of a new peninsula.
