RNL designed a 45-story, 500-room, 5-star hotel in the new Al Raha Development area of Abu Dhabi. The striking design accentuates the vertical elements of the hotel, thus providing views from all hotel rooms to the sea, ballroom, spa and beach club facilities.

The site is a newly reclaimed island in the center of the Al Raha Beach development. The site features include a new beach, marina, and luxury homes set along the waterfront, pedestrian paths that link each site along the waters edge. The site is linked to adjacent developments via a landscaped boulevard and commuter light rail system, which connects the Abu Dhabi airport with downtown Abu Dhabi.
