The grandeur of the historic architectural tradition of the Mission Hotel in Riverside is captured in the design of the 6,000 square foot spa. Located adjacent to the pool, the project transforms existing retail and meeting rooms into a luxurious spa, which extends into the pool area with two new separate villas. The spa is enclosed with private courtyards and water features offering a setting that reflects the gardens and courts in and around the various levels.

Situated on an entire city block of the quaint Mission Inn District of Riverside, California, the Mission stands as a historic landmark. Opened in 1902, the elegant hotel has counted American presidents, foreign royalty, politicians, celebrities, and the social elite among its visitors.

Bridging the past and the present, the Mission Inn opened the new world-class Kelly’s Spa in May 2004. The Tuscan-inspired spa creates a cozy 6,000 square foot facility with six treatment areas, including a nail salon and two outdoor villas. Kelly’s Spa features such treatments as a Neroli and Mandarin Body Scrub and a signature Tuscan Bliss body treatment. Many herbs and oils originating in Italy have been blended into the spa’s treatments.
