1099 Osage

DENVER, COLORADO

The first phase of the Denver Housing Authority’s 18-acre South Lincoln redevelopment, 1099 Osage is an eight-story, 100-unit housing complex for seniors and people with disabilities who have low incomes. On track for LEED Platinum certification, the facility includes more than 50 kw of photovoltaic panels and a geothermal system. The entire project has achieved a 50% savings over ASHRAE standards; cutting-edge water quality and detention systems were designed and approved outside the building envelope. Permeable paving and other systems, such as porous landscape detention solutions, were also integrated into many areas.
