RNL designed this 167,000-gsf, 178-unit senior living community, adjacent the Westwood United Methodist Church, to provide units for both independent and assisted living with high-quality support services and amenities. A creative development strategy provides the church with 292 parking spaces in return for the right to develop senior housing in the air rights above. This close partnership is expressed in the design of the project as a contextual aesthetic to create a “campus” with the church.
