Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), a resource and research organization for medical groups, contracted with RNL to assess its current and future space needs, and then develop a plan to meet them. Alternatives included relocation or reuse of two existing buildings, which housed MGMA’s headquarters and several tenants. Due diligence was conducted on the buildings to assess current conditions and establish parameters for any remodel. After RNL evaluated whether MGMA’s projected space needs would fit in the buildings, space plans and restack options were explored, resulting in an approved design and phased implementation that accommodated remodeling while the building was still occupied.
