The relocation of Dorsey & Whitney, LLP to Denver’s Lower Downtown Historic District (LoDo) marks a major culture shift for the international law firm. Capitalizing on LoDo’s history and vibrancy, the office design borrows characteristics from the urban landscape and reinforces its connection to the community. A pedestrian “bridge” between 1400 Wewatta and 1401 Wynkoop reinforces this sense of connection and enables the firm to fit on one floor. Stacked stone, walnut veneer and complimentary planes of patterned and white-back painted glass create a subtle, elemental palette. Floor-to-ceiling patterned glass at interior corridors promotes an open atmosphere, while allowing for visual privacy.
