University of Colorado Foundation
DENVER, COLORADO
RNL was selected to design the University of Colorado Foundation’s space after RNL successfully relocated the University of Colorado President’s Office at 1800 Grant. The office is comprised primarily of private offices with a large entry space for receptions, and a number of formal and informal conference facilities. RNL used full-height glazing panels at the perimeter to increase daylight and provide views to the exterior. Scalloped partitions leading from the public elevator lobby into the reception provide a dramatic entry to the suite as well as exhibition. The palette of slate, wood and other natural materials was inspired by Colorado foliage, colors and textures as well as historic Boulder campus buildings.
