The merger of two international brewing giants demanded a new corporate headquarters that reflects its new vision for the future. RNL’s design team combined characteristics of an old world brewery, including wide-plank wood flooring and copper clad columns, with new materials and technologies such as perforated metal ceiling with a two-story, amber glass wall, to create a new global image for the company. Branded elements include signage, large graphics, historic artifacts within rock wall niches and a custom art sculpture created from brown and green beer bottles that reference the merging of the two cultures. The reception area is connected to the boardroom by a bridge that overlooks the floor below.
