Symphony Park

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

RNL developed a master plan for Union Park, a vacant 61-acre parcel of remediated railroad that is the largest piece of assembled, undeveloped land in downtown Las Vegas. The goal is to create a sustainably designed vertical urban village, centrally located on the site between a medical campus and a performing arts complex with a series of connections between the site and the city. A shaded grid of streets connects view corridors and pedestrian bridges to downtown Las Vegas. A central promenade is the feature focus of activity, and a series of east-west “street parks” enliven the urban village. The team is responsible for master planning, economic analysis, market strategy, transportation and infrastructure planning services.
