Heska is a world leader in the discovery and creation of veterinary medicines for companion animals - the cats, dogs, and horses that enhance our daily lives. With the design of its new corporate headquarters, a primary goal was the incorporation of the company values and mission. The team strived to express the beliefs and goals of Heska, which include native Lakota Indian references and respect for environmental concerns, throughout the design of the new facility.

The new Heska headquarters includes new corporate offices, sophisticated conferencing and lunch facilities, research and development labs, as well as equipment and warehouse operations. Through this project the company consolidated four separate locations into one new home, bringing together many staff members into a new and dynamic location. The needs of science have been carefully considered, allowing the science staff to use state-of-the-art automation, the latest in analytical techniques, while respecting the overall facility budget. The project included careful early coordination with the shell architect to insure the lab systems and office adjacency fit seamlessly with the shell design. Collaborative and interactive work environment design creates a dynamic workplace supporting essential team- oriented product development and marketing.
