The Embassy Suites Hotel is located within the Central Glendale Redevelopment District and is key to the revitalization of this area. The design consists of a fourteen story, 277 all suites, full service hotel. The hotel includes meeting/conference space, lounge and restaurant facility, lobby bar, gymnasium, gift shop and deli. Supporting the hotel is a four-level, subterranean, parking structure with a capacity of 420 vehicles. The palette of exterior materials includes limestone, granite, glass and metal panels.

The design includes a street level landscaped courtyard offering an urban oasis retreat to both hotel guests and the public. Other amenities include a pool and spa terrace as well as multiple landscaped sky terraces. Public art, landscaping and water sculptures are juxtaposed with in the multilevel atrium lobby. Guest suites wrap around a fourteen story high atrium that incorporates natural day lighting via a roof skylight as well as through a window wall where suites are stepped back. The sculptured stepped-back design allows for the curving window wall to rise up to a boat shaped transparent glass element. At night the internal illumination from the atrium window wall creates a landmark beacon and gateway at the north end of Central Avenue.
