Eagle County retained RNL and Maintenance Design Group with their team of consultants to plan and design a new Maintenance Service Center for both Eagle County Regional Transportation Authority and the County Road and Bridge division.

RNL’s work commenced with the development of a space needs program for the two entities. The design team then analyzed the chosen site and developed the 14-acre site master plan.

The resulting Eagle County Maintenance Service Center is a complex of seven buildings, including administration, operations, maintenance, heated bus storage, heated vehicle storage, covered storage and fuel and wash. The buildings are predominantly constructed of masonry with metal panel sidings. Extensive use of natural daylighting provides the optimal work environment.
