The University of Colorado Foundation is a privately governed, non-profit corporation whose mission is to support the University’s initiatives through fundraising and asset management. RNL was selected to design their new space following RNL’s successful relocation of the University of Colorado President’s Office at 1800 Grant.

This technology-forward office is primarily comprised of private, enclosed offices with a large entry space for receptions, and a number of formal and informal conference facilities. RNL utilized full-height glazing panels at the perimeter to increase daylight and provide views to the exterior. Scalloped partitions leading from the public elevator lobby into the reception provide a dramatic entry to the suite, as well as exhibition space for the university’s campuses and programs. The palette of slate, wood, and other natural materials was derived from the foliage, colors, and textures in Colorado, as well as the historic buildings on the Boulder campus.
