Located at the northeast corner of 1st Avenue and Steele Street, the Coda Cherry Creek project occupies one of the most prominent locations within Denver’s renowned Cherry Creek retail and residential district. The building is a concrete frame structure rising 12 stories above grade with another 2 levels below grade. The program consists of a mixed use, multi-family, high-rise development; with 182 high-style, for-rent apartment units and 3,800 sf of boutique restaurant space on the ground floor. Parking for the project consists of 2 levels of heated below grade parking and 1½ levels above grade for a total of 220 parking spaces. The commercial and (partial) residential parking entry is off of Steele Street, while an exclusively residential parking entrance occurs from the alley. Valet parking offers additional first class service. Amenities include a landscaped community terrace with community cooking capabilities, an outdoor projection theater, and a shallow reflection pool. Perimeter site landscaping improvements are designed to complement the building architecture and offer patio seating. The building is targeted LEED Gold by incorporating a number of innovative strategies including roof top photovoltaics, a grey water catch and reuse system, and a “Velo - Room” with bicycle wash and repair facilities for both the residents and the public alike.
